... direct exchange and regular communication with all those involved in planning. We work in agile and well-coordinated teams. As a result, we have created an office atmosphere based on trust. At Ingenieurteam Trebes, I am not just a colleague, but each and every one of us is an important part of the successful company with our respective professional and social strengths. Our team structure has created a trusting, loyal and even friendly environment that works extremely well at all levels. Whether for projects, exams, training, substitutions in the event of illness\/holidays or at the bowling alley: we can rely on each other and our clients also benefit from this. ... that BIM is the future of planning! We are now planning both building construction and civil engineering projects with Building Information Modeling. We want to continue to expand the BIM workflow in order to achieve the goal of loss-free digital collaboration not only in the planning phase but across all life cycle phases. By applying new technical possibilities to this method, we can bring tangible added value to the construction site and to operations!<\/p>\n

... for the project diversity of Trebes - from Bavaria to Denmark, from NRW to Brandenburg. It's always exciting!<\/p>\n

So whether I go to the cinema in Bad Homburg, take part in a project day at the Trave School in Bad Segeberg, drive across the A215 junction to the City Park in Kiel, find out about film production at Orafol in Oranienburg, before finally being shown around the University Hospital in Aarhus by friends during my vacation in Denmark - there's virtually no escaping the engineering team!<\/p>\n

What is important to us personally ...<\/h2>

... is something we would also like to include in our work: A sustainable approach to the use of resources in the construction industry. To ensure that we don't just pay lip service to this, we also look beyond our own company, work together with specialist planners, construction companies and Kiel University and involve students to incorporate their ideas into creative concepts.<\/p>\n

I value ...<\/h2>

... the great willingness of Trebes and the entire team to work remotely. For example, I can use the time during my commute by train to complete my first to-dos. In addition, working hours can be arranged quite flexibly to balance work and private life. To support this, there are offers that can be used anonymously by every colleague, e.g. advice on many topics such as partnership, family or finances, or sports activities at home. Trebes also keeps an eye on the different personalities of the team. For example, everyone takes part in a workshop so that they can better assess themselves and the personalities of other colleagues or project participants.<\/p>\n

... and from each other. In our teams, we regularly discuss current projects and exchange views on technical or general issues. The composition of the teams is interdisciplinary and ranges from young engineers to senior engineers, so that we all benefit from each other's project experience. Internal and external training courses keep us up to date with the latest technology and innovative solutions for the construction industry. In addition to technical topics, we also attend soft skills seminars, which help us to improve our communication skills and develop tools for successful project management.<\/p>\n

Civil engineer - a man's job?<\/h2>

Man or woman plays no role in my everyday life. Respectful cooperation at eye level both within the team and outside the company is a matter of course for us.<\/p>\n
