B-ton began as a research and development laboratory - today the holding company produces climate-positive precast concrete elements on an industrial scale.
The company's technology, processes and proprietary concrete mix designs enable the production of DIN/EN-compliant, ecologically optimized and climate-positive concrete of all exposure classes, including lightweight concrete. This is made possible by the use of the globally unique mixing technology for:
- Reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 70 %
- Concrete weight reduction of up to 40 %
- Use of previously unusable desert sand
The services of the Trebes engineering team for the mixer tower required for this include:
- Support for B-ton in the construction approval process for the mixing tower
- International cooperation with the Italian concrete mixing plant manufacturer MCT Italy S.r.l. (Marcantonini Concrete Technology).
- Structural analysis of the load-bearing steel structure of the mixing tower
- Structural analysis and execution planning of the foundation of the mixing tower with optimized data exchange
As part of this first project, Trebes is further optimizing the close collaboration between planning and execution for the future: the data from planning (BIM/CAD) is linked to that of (partially) automated production (CAM/ERP) and taken into account in the calculation at an early stage. Thanks to improved, closer interfaces, paperless project processing from planning to transportation and assembly is becoming a reality in the construction industry.
The plant was put into operation on 24.04.2024. The NDR reported:
