  • Preservation of the listed substructures and spanning with a new bridge (span width 12.30 m)
  • Reuse of many historical components (paving, bollards, etc.)
  • Laying of large-format cobblestones in bonded construction as road surface in coordination with the monument protection authorities
  • Design of the new railing based on the old, historic bridge railing
  • Construction of the new superstructure in steel composite construction
  • Deep foundation of the bridge on a total of 12 bored piles, each 20 m long, and 8 inclined piles
