On April 28, 2022, Orafol created facts: The international manufacturer of self-adhesive specialty products is expanding its headquarters in Oranienburg by laying the foundation stone for another production hall.
Hall 10 joins the ranks
This is now the 6th building for which Trebes has been responsible for planning (references). This time it is production hall 10, in which a completely self-sufficient production area for laminating and coating plastics is being integrated according to the plans of Berlin-based gmp Architekten. For this purpose, the building will be divided into two hall areas, each approx. 110 m long, for 5 new production facilities. Due to the large spans and room dimensions, the majority of the construction will be made up of clamped precast columns with precast walls and trusses spanning over 27 m in between. There are also above-ground sprinkler tanks on the 93.5 x 150 m gross floor area.
"We were very happy to accept the invitation to lay the foundation stone and traveled to Oranienburg with our ORAFOL planning team. We were delighted to celebrate the start of construction of Hall 10 together with the client and planning partner as well as the construction company after a long time without such meetings on the construction site," says project manager Florian Hein.
