It's done: the new nature experience bridge over the Schwentine in Raisdorf is officially open!
During the ceremony, Mayor Thomas Hass and District Administrator Björn Demmin praised the fact that nature conservation and environmental protection concerns had been taken into account during the planning and construction of the structure in the FFH area. They also emphasized the implementation as an aluminium truss construction, which - in contrast to the existing wooden superstructure - ensures durability. Information boards attached to the railing bring the users of the nature experience bridge closer to the local wildlife.
We took on the project and structural planning for the bridge, which was financed partly from donations.
