Building physics

We determine the energy balance of buildings (according to GEG) in order to reduce energy consumption and thus C02 emissions in both new and existing buildings!

Services

Our building physics services cover all aspects of determining the energy balance of buildings and thus create the data basis for reducing emissions.

Determining the energy requirements of buildings

Consideration of space heating/cooling, hot water production. Operation of ventilation systems, electricity consumption (e.g. heating pumps, boilers, controllers)

Checking the specifications for air exchange/ minimizing thermal bridges (building corners/low insulation)

Preparation of energy performance certificates (regulation for rentals and sales)

emissions and climate protection targets

"Buildings account for around 35 percent of energy consumption in Germany. They are currently responsible for around 120 million tons of the greenhouse gas CO2 per year. These emissions would have to be reduced by more than 40 percent in order to achieve the climate protection targets by 2030 and to become less dependent on energy imports."

(Consumer protection center, July 2022)

We are also working towards these goals!
